About Fayola Delica
Fayola Delica is trained as a Health Educator and a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN). She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Education (BSHSE) with a minor in Community Health from the University of Florida (UF) in 2003, and graduated with honors, cum laude in three years.
She also graduated from the University of Miami (UM) in Coral Gables, FL where she obtained a second post-baccalaureate degree of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN RN) in 2005. Fayola had been in the healthcare industry for over a decade in working as a nurse in various capacities and nursing specialties.
In recent years, Fayola has had a growing passion for teaching. She also has a teacher’s heart as she has worked with students from all age groups in churches and in the community.
Fayola is an active member of Toastmasters International. Her philosophy in life is that one should not only consider their personal development, but also the development of others; which she does through her involvement in the community.
She volunteers as an iCon Consultant for Junior Achievement (JA), Inc., where she teaches high school students entrepreneurship in an after-school program. She also has a strong and committed relationship as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ where she is an active member at her local church.
